When you open the website, the web server automatically stores technical data in a log file: IP address, date and time, requested file, referrer URL, and browser and operating system. We use this data only to run the website securely and reliably and to detect abuse. It is deleted automatically after a short time.
All fonts, scripts, images and videos are delivered from our own server. No data is transmitted to Google, Webflow or other third parties when you visit the site.
If you use the contact form, we process your first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number (optional) and your message. The data is sent by e-mail directly to our mailbox and used only to answer your enquiry. No external form or mail service is involved.
To protect against abuse, the server temporarily stores a non-reversible hash of your IP address (for IPv6, of the network prefix), formed with a secret key, together with the times of your requests in order to limit their number, as well as a hash of the one-time form token. This data is deleted automatically once it is older than 24 hours; the deletion runs the next time the form is used. The content of your message is not stored on the web server.
We keep your enquiry as long as needed to handle it or as required by statutory retention periods. You can also contact us by telephone or e-mail without using the form.
This website does not set cookies and does not use analytics or tracking services.
The website contains links to external sites, for example OpenStreetMap. These are plain links, not embedded content; the map on the contact page is likewise an image that we deliver ourselves, and the product video is played from our own server. Data is only transmitted to the respective provider once you click a link; that provider is responsible for its own data processing.
Data between your browser and our server is transmitted in encrypted form (HTTPS). We take technical and organisational measures to protect your data against loss, misuse and unauthorised access.
You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you and to request correction, deletion and restriction of processing. Please contact info@sktec.ch; we may ask for proof of identity. You may also lodge a complaint with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
